Richie Glynn

Richie is a young male rock singer based in Dublin. At the january Midem conference in Cannes there was interest in his new direction which is a rocky attitude driven production with Richie's characteristic vocal delivery and pop sensibility.

Richie manages to mix a rock sound with very commercial radio friendly arrangments. This is down to the choice of original songs. Richies songs have a character to them that engages the listener who is quickly drawn into the hooks and the guitar flavoured tracks and then 'bam!' there's the hit chorus where the melody plays its best moment just as the lyric speaks the best words. That's how to have hits apparently, so roll on the hits!

Richie has been back in the studio this summer, recording a radical new version of a big hit from the 70's and once again proving that he has what it takes to make a big impression on the music scene.

There are now plans for the band that he sings with to join forces with Richie to make a new Irish rock group. They will record in the studio with him on the new songs and then get out on stage to rock audiences up and down the country.

There is interest in Richie from record companies in Germany, UK and Scandinavia, and when the new recordings are finished we hope to have a new release in some of those territories to introduce the new sound of Richie to the world.

Richie was on a two week holiday in Crete. While he was there he got up on stage to sing a few songs. As a result he has been asked back there for a month, all expenses paid with an apartment and wages! Music is the best way to travel... He just got back to Dublin, re-packed his bags and got back on the plane to sunny Crete.
