Tia Andrews is one of the biggest talents currently emerging from the Irish Music Scene

Here is Ireland's newest singing star sensation. She's the girl with the big voice, the only person I know who can hit those Maria Carey extreme high falsetto notes without even trying hard. She's lovely to work with in the studio and a real sweetie too, so look out, here she comes...

Tia is currently working on new songs with Andy in the studio. They have been exploring new textures for some sensitive ballads and romantic songs. She loves to bring out the meaning of a lyric with vocal inflections and her own unique brand of soul adlib stylings.

More recently Tia has been exploring a cool latin vibe on a couple of new tracks. This has led on to a very interesting new contrast between her voice and the percussion of these tracks. It's a departure from the over-populated waters of R&B and opens up a new area of music for her.

She has been getting lots of airplay on Dublin radio stations and as a result major labels are hearing about this new Irish singer.

Tia is now coming back into the studio very soon to record some new songs with Andy. Let's hope she gets as much radio play with the new songs as she has been getting with the last couple!

Rumour has it that the new jingles for Irish radio and TV presenter Seán Bán Breathnach (SBB) were all performed by Tia. Actually its not a rumour, that's true.

Check out Tia if you get a chance to see her singing live, otherwise listen out for her on the radio.

A big hello to all the folks at the Dublin Bus Depot at Conyngham Road, who have also supported Tia with a page about here which you can see here: http://www.dublinbus.org/id18.html

Tia would like to say a special thanks to everyone who called in requesting songs from Tia to the radio stations.
